Young people from the capital and other provinces of the country join the Cuba is Living History Project

By: Elena Milagros Godinez Dalmau

The main purpose of the Cuba is Historia Viva project is to promote the exchange with the combatants, personalities and leaders of our country who have a link with the patriotic history and in this way ensure that this history is never forgotten.

The project is based on the social networks and the link with the media that may reflect the interviews and dialogues with members of the National Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC), the organization that directs this project.

Motivated by the 30th anniversary of the ACRC, the 60th anniversary of the Union of Young Communists and the FEU's centennial, this project begins with a group of young people who wish to show that the history and memories of this nation are still alive in the new generations.

The main mission of the initiative is to visit combatants and historical leaders whose lives have been linked to the revolutionary and political work of the Homeland.

Cuba is Historia  Viva is aimed at Cuban youth, young people of all ages, the community, neighbors and social participation. It has the support of organizations such as the Movimiento Juvenil Martiano, the Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas and the FEEM, the FEU and the union with the "Gratitude" Project, which also seeks to thank those people who gave so much for this Revolution.

In order to extend the idea of this project, it is our desire to link up with the media and promote the exchange from other platforms.
