With the objective of strengthening the links and linkages between them, with companies and state entities and with their customers, , the GOVERNOR OF HAVANA CALLS FOR THE 1st FAIR OF LOCAL DEVELOPMENT HAVANA 2022.

● Date: March 28th to April 3rd, 2022.

● Place: EXPOCUBA

Who is invited?

Local Development Projects (PDL); Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Non-Agricultural Cooperatives (CNA), Agricultural Production Cooperatives (CPA), Credit and Service Cooperatives (CCS), Self-Employed Workers (TCP), Universities and Producers of Cuban Fund of Cultural Goods (FCBC), as well as state enterprises with linkages with the new FGNE.

The Fair will have several modalities: Expo-sales, launching of new products and services, business coordination, theoretical and scientific events.

Under the slogan "Everyone Counts in Local Development", the fair aims to be the place where the capital's economic actors and their audiences meet.

Of the Theoretical Event we know that:

"It will give the necessary tools that entrepreneurs need for their ventures. From the conception of the word business, its development, to the end, that is why we have taken into account different topics from communication, marketing, among others. To this theoretical event we have added an event related to food production and we are thinking of experts who can provide us with knowledge from the production of high quality seeds to technologies that facilitate production and production chains".

About the Scientific Event of this 1st Local Development Fair we inform you:

"It will be a praiseworthy expression of the links that exist between universities and the actions undertaken by the government of the capital. The Center for Public Administration Studies is a center that has experience in this regard where its founding concept has been to contribute to the education and training of public officials and to provide advice on what has to do with governance, especially Municipal Governance. This scientific event is conceived in co-sponsorship with the University of Havana, with the Council of Rectors of the Universities of the Capital".

What about transportation for the fair?

"For all citizens who wish to participate in the 1st Fair of Local Development Projects, transportation will be guaranteed. Buses to Expocuba will be at the service of the people of the capital. A government-run transportation plan has been organized so that the population can participate and enjoy all the attractions of the event. The municipalities will also take alternatives so that the population can participate from their seats of government".

Regarding the exhibition and assembly of the Fair they explain:

"All relevant arrangements are being made with Expocuba and with the municipalities so that the fair has an adequate organization for Havana's entrepreneurs, who are the raison d'être. So that all the products and services presented can be exhibited to the public and they can be identified with the creativity that each one wants to contribute. We are confident that the fair will be a success.
