New touristic route dedicated to Eusebio Leal.

A new touristic tour through Havana that remembers the legacy of the Historian of the City, Eusebio Leal Spengler, is being promoted by the Office of the Historian of the City in the capital.

According to what referred Prensa Latina the initiative is called Casa Eusebio Leal Route and has as central topic the life and work of the Historian- who died on July 2020- and his concern by the cultural elements of the city.

The journey, pointed out the San Cristobal tour agency is an exclusive proposal and involves those places where Leal´s presence was most notorious.

The Templete, Plaza de Armas, the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, the San Gerónimo University Colleague of Havana and Mercaderes Street are included in the new tour.

A special stop is planned for the Mother Teresa of Calcuta Garden (annexed to the Basilica Menor de San Francisco de Asís) where Eusebio´s remains rest.

The also PhD in Historic Sciences and Master of Archeologic Sciences, Leal Spengler, excelled by his committed work of restoration of the Historic Center of the City, declared Human Heritage by the United Nations organization for the Education, Science and Culture.
