Cuban peasants evaluate priorities of the sector.

The National Union of Small Agricultures (ANAP) in Havana develops an assembly process with its associates where the growth, crime, corruption and illegalities in the agricultural areas is evaluated, mainly the theft and slaughter of livestock and also the new Code of the Families is being discussed.

Our organization is developing this process with the participation of the National Bureau of ANAP, that is carried out by areas in the municipalities where all the directions of the base organizations and the Credit and Services (CSS)Board participate, expressed José Wilsi Carballo Castro, president of the Union Bureau of ANAP in Havana.

The city peasants’ respond to the call has been really positive. ¨We are also evaluating the main productive indicators, such as grains, vegetables, dairy products and we must say that the answers provided by the peasants of the city is higher in the fulfillment of this productive lines¨.

¨We are aware that we are talking about small areas and small production volumes but that is also important and to it are the peasants committed to, and its being demonstrated with the productions provided to the people of the capital¨.

There are more than 1000 associated to the ANAP and gathered in 87 CSS in Havana.
