The Empresa Aguas de la Habana (Water Company) informs its customers living in the municipalities of the center-southern part of the city, that next Wednesday March 16th, water supply will necessarily be interrupted between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m.

According to a note provided by the entity, the shortage is due to maintenance works and repairs that will be performed in the water conductors and the power lines feeding the water source of Cuenca Sur.

In the municipality of Plaza de la Revolución water supply will be affected in the lower and intermediate area of this territory, except for the zone of hospitals and sectors near to Loma del Príncipe and the University of Havana.

In the municipality of Cerro, the areas of Martí, Cepero Bonilla, Casino Deportivo, Santa Catalina, Palatino, Las Cañas, the People´s Council Atarés and part of the People´s Council Latinoamericano will be affected.

In 10 de Octubre water supply will affected in Luyanó and part of Sevillano.

In Boyeros, the affected areas will be Miraflores Nuevos, Ciudad de la Construcción, Altahabana, Mazorra, Embil and Río Cristal.
