Tribuna la Habana informed that, this Saturday the teams of Cuba, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Favorites in the podiums won, among females and males.

According to the media, early afternoon, between male teams, from Puerto Rico went beyond Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican to a Jamaica and Cuba to Barbados, all of them 3-0.

Players from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haití, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, will have 12tables of  high level for competence and 8 to practice.

The leader of the Cuban team , the olympic , Jorge Moisés Campos, as well as his partners Liván Martínez y Eday Gómez, felt good in this first match and fullfilled  their objective in the begining of the competition, to get ready for the dynamic of the game and to advance facing more difficult teams .

When talking to the ACN, Daniela Fonseca and Idalys Lovet, main Cuban figures, highlighted the good level of the table tennis in the Caribbean and especially in Cuba, where young players and experienced ones are training hard for national and international leagues.

The best table tennis players of the area will find the podiums of the Caribbean and qualifying positions for the Pan-American Championship in 2022 and then world in 2023.
