The booster vaccination with the immunogen Abdala began this Monday to the 2 thousand 360 patients allergic to Tiomersal who reside in the Plaza de la Revolución municipality.

In the session of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, this was announced by Dr. Auroly Otaño Arteaga, director of Health of the territory, who informed that the reinforced immunization in non-allergic people is 103 percent; index achieved by the application of the vaccine to people who do not live permanently in the territory.

Regarding the epidemiological situation, the directive explained that, up to Saturday dawn, 115 positive cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed during the month of February. During this period, the death of a 95-year-old woman, who had several comorbidities, was regretted. The other 114 cases remained uncomplicated.

Regarding arbovirosis, the physician assured that it is under control and prevention measures continue to be taken in the communities to avoid an outbreak of dengue.
