The official report of the Ministry of Public Health informs that, yesterday when closing the day February 26 , 630 new positive cases were confirmed to Covid-19, for a total of one million 69 thousand 387.

Today 7 thousand 867 are admitted; 5 thousand 141are suspected and 52 under vigilance.

So far 8 thousand 494 deaths, none  of the day , 524  were discharged  (in the day), one million 58 thousand 160 patients recovered (99 %). 2 mil 674 active cases are confirmed, 2 thousand 639 with an stable clinical follow up.

there were 18 cases confirmed in La Habana, 17 autochthonous, and 1 imported. Only in six of the 15 municipalities in Havana cases were identified.

They studied 11 thousand 979 samples, 630 samples were positive. The country has 13 million 78 thousand 936 samples studied and one million 69 thousand 387 positives.

Out of the confirmed cases, 618 were contacts of confirmed cases, 5 with a source of infection on the outside, and 7 with not specified source of infection.

Female 387, male 243. There are 35 patients in intensive care units, 9 critical and 26 seriously ill.

There was a 5,4 % (34) of the 630 positive cases having no symptoms, for a total figure of 145 thousand 104 which represents 13,6 % of the confirmed cases so far.

The 630 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: younger than  20 years, 140; from 20 to 39, 163; from 40 to 59 years 189, and from 60 and more , 138 cases.

Cuba reports a lethality rate of, 0,79 % of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than 1,37 % of the world, and 1,37 % in America until this February 26.
