The official release of this album, from the popular orchestra El Niño y la Verdad, founded by the songwriter and singer Emilio Frías, will take place at the Cultural Center El Sauce, placed in the municipality of Playa.

The official release of this album, from the popular orchestra El Niño y la Verdad, founded by the songwriter and singer Emilio Frías, will take place this Saturday February 26th, at 21:00 (local time) at the Cultural Center El Sauce, placed in the municipality of Playa.

This is the fourth phonographic delivery of the band after the successful musical presentation, ¨Back to the Neighborhood¨ (De vuelta al Barrio), prized at the Cubadisco event on 2019, in the category popular dance music.

According to Radio Coco, El Hijo del Viento (Son of the Wind), featuring ten songs, showing the most autochthonous of the Cuban music, with guesses of honor such as Horacio¨El Negro¨ Gómez, Adonis Panter y Osaín del Monte and Hayla María Monpié. A special mention for the work carried out by Pachi Naranjo Jr, which is on charge of the production and almost all the musical arrangements of the production.

The version of A Bayamo en coche should be highlighted too, where the use of the second voice, as it was traditional, was re-incorporated, magisterially recorded by the Knight of the Son, Adalberto Álvarez. With this gorgeous detail, an homage is paid to Adalberto Avarez, who recently passed away.

Another surprise that the album gives us is a collaboration between Emilio Frías with the urban music duet Kimiko y Yordi and the version of the song The Godfather, with the performance of the rumba band, Osain del Monte.

It will also be presented the bolero Alma mía, from María Greever together with the Lyceum Orchestra of Havana as a special moment of the event.
