The official report of the Ministry of Public Health informs that, yesterday February 22, 513 new positive cases were confirmed to Covid-19, for a total of one million 66 thousand 927.

Today 32 thousand 975 are admitted; 5 thousand 748 are suspected and 67 under vigilance.

So far 8 thousand 494 deaths (three per day), 731  were discharged  (in the day), one million 55 thousand 626 patients recovered (98,94 %). 2 mil 748 active cases are confirmed, 5 thousand 715 with an stable clinical follow up.

there were 22 cases confirmed in La Habana, 16 autochthonous, and 1 imported. Only in nine of the 15 municipalities in Havana cases were identified.

They studied 12 thousand 333 samples, 513 samples were positive. The country has 13 million 25 thousand 937 samples studied and one million 66 thousand 927 positives.

Out of the confirmed cases, 497 were contacts of confirmed cases, 67 with a source of infection on the outside, and 4 with not specified source of infection.

Female 301, male 212. There are 33 patients in intensive care units, 11 critical y 22 seriously ill.

There was an 8,6 % (44) of the 513 positive cases having no symptoms, for a total figure of 144 thousand 936 which represents 13,6 % of the confirmed cases so far.

The 513 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: younger than  20 years, 127; from 20 to 39, 135; from 40 to 59 years 133, and from 60 and more , 118 cases.

Cuba reports a lethality rate of, 0,80 % of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than 1,38 % of the world, and 1,78 % in America until this February 22.
