The Mozart Route will hold a concert in San Felipe Neri Oratorio.

The Mozart Route, one of the most beloved events for the public, organized by the Lyceum Motzarniano de la Habana, from the conduction of the American violinist Michael Dabroski, celebrates its four years.

A concert will be hold in celebration of the date next February 24th, at 6:00p.m. at the San Felipe Neri Oratorio, in the historic center in Havana.

The Covid-19 pandemic will not allow to perform the event as it was previously scheduled: an entire musical itinerary in which, string groups, formed by young people, some students and graduates of the University of Arts in Cuba, will interpret all of Mozart´s string quartets, specifically 23 plays, during a hole day, in several spaces of the Historical Center of the City.

As for the repertoire to be heard in this event. It will be a selection of some of the Mozart´s quartets, the KV 155,171 and 172, the first of the so-called Milanese Quartets, while the last two, belonging to the Viennese Quartets were named after the European cities were they were written by the genius of Salzburg.

A selection of some of the Mozart´s quartets will be heard, including the Quintet for clarinet and strings KV581, which, although is not part of the Integral Quartets, it constitutes a great gift for the specialists, musician and public in general, who will be delighted with Mozart´s pieces.

For the joy of the audience, master Dabroski, conductor and director of the Vermont Mozart Festival will intervene, as he has been doing since 2018 without interruption, joined by three instrumentalists of the Cuarteto Festivo, with participation of members of the Lyceum Orchestra of Havana.

The date will take place next February 24th, when the chamber music event was inaugurated for the first time, in the admirable spaces developed by the Office of the Historian of the City.

Since then, the Lyceum has proposed itself to delight, through a musical tour, the public of the oldest part of the city, so that, pedestrian and inhabitants of the communities, will enjoy the Integral de los Cuartetos de Mozart in the squares of the Historical Center of Havana.

The Route of Mozart, one of the greatest and most enjoyed events organized by the Lyceum Motzarniano de la Habana, will celebrate its four years of creation with a concert scheduled next Thursday February 24, at 6:00 p.m., at San Felipe Neri Oratorio, in the Historic Center of Havana.
