Promoting the updating of domestic trade, good practices in the activity and fostering linkages between economic actors are the objectives of the Commercial Techniques 2022 meeting, to be held in this capital from February 18 to 22.

Grisel Avila Diaz, Cuban deputy minister of Domestic Trade, said that the event, sponsored by the Ministry of Domestic Trade (MINCIN), will be held at the fairgrounds of LÍnea and 18, in Vedado.

It is expected the participation of more than 400 representatives from all the provinces, belonging to producing, marketing and wholesale and retail services entities, as well as the Cimex and Caribe chain stores, the Palmares and Artex companies, and the Cultural Goods Fund, he said.

Avila Diaz commented that the meeting includes three master conferences on strategic foresight, the government management system and the integral logistics of the economy and its challenges in the wholesale trade with the new economic actors, whose organizational forms will participate in the event.

The vice-owner informed the press that from Saturday 19, the population will be able to access the fairgrounds and other surrounding areas where food and industrial items will be marketed in more than 100 stands.

A total of 42 presentations will make up the scientific program, linked to the development of trade activities in the territories and how to take advantage of existing resources.

Mirurgia Ramírez Santana, director of Marketing of Mincin, declared that meetings will be held between the provinces and representatives of the sector in Havana's municipalities.

Those from the capital will show their experiences in the computerization of warehouses, the operation of commission houses and the insertion of the sector in the transformation of neighborhoods, so that good practices can be extended to the whole country.

He detailed that Sunday 20 will be dedicated to Cuban cuisine and for that reason, dishes of the traditional cuisine of each territory will be exhibited, and there will be competitions of canteen and culinary techniques, organized by the Association of Bartenders and the Culinary Federation.

As part of the meeting, young people from all areas of Commerce will exchange on Monday 21 with its top executives, in order to socialize the work done and their contribution to Cuba's strategic programs.
