28 new positive reported cases of Covid- 19 from the 594 new positive are from La Habana.

The official report of the Ministry of Health, informed that yesterday, February 15th,594 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported for a total of 1 062 748 cases.

3717 patients remain in hospital admission,7977suspicious and 86 under medical surveillance.

To date, 8477 deaths by coronavirus (1 belonging to the day) have been reported, and 3717 active cases of which 3676 with a stable clinical evolution; a total of 200(belonging to the day) patients were discharged from hospitals for a total of 1 050 495(98.8%) medical or epidemiological discharges.

28 cases were identified in the capital, all of them native.

The municipalities Cerro, Cotorro, Habana Vieja, Regla and San Miguel del Padrón didn´t reported positive cases.

13 003 tests were studied for Covid- 19, 594 were positive samples, whether with PCR or by antigen. The country accumulates 12 933 256 analyzed samples of which 1 062 748 were positive.

Of the confirmed cases,597 people were contacts of confirmed cases,8 with source of infection from abroad and 7 with unknown source of infection.

There were 329 female and 256 male cases.41 diagnosed patients remain in the Intensive Care Unit, of them 19 critical and 22 seriously ill. 

8.92% of 1594 positive cases were asymptomatic, for a total of 144 539, which represents a 13.6% of the confirmed cases to the date.

Of the 694 confirmed cases, 122 were under 20 years of age; 168 between 20 and 39; 176 between 40 and 59 and 128, over 60.

The death rate for Covid -19 in Cuba, in February 15th, 2022 is 0.80% per million inhabitants which is lower than the 1.41% for the world and the 1.79 % for the Americas region.
