2001.  The Havana Anti-Doping Laboratory is inaugurated in the Cuban capital.

It was created at the initiative of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro to protect the Cuban sports movement. The Center has a modern, comfortable and functional design and high-tech equipment. Its main function is to control doping, and it also carries out Bioavailability, Pharmacokinetic and Bioequivalence studies.

2000. Casa Perfumería Habana 1791 is inaugurated. It is also known as the Perfume Museum.

In the 90's this building was rescued by the Office of the Historian of Havana and restoration work began to provide it with the new function that has come to the present. The perfume shop's rooms have gained elegance with specialized spaces and different sales areas for its products. It also functions as a museum and in that aspect it offers a sample of old perfumery bottles.
