Cuba prepares virtual vaccination card against Covid-19

The leader of Health affairs José Ángel Portal Miranda, explained at the regular meeting of the Temporary Working Group to fight against Covid-19, that the digital document will be available from this February 14th, when it will be launched.

According to the Presidency, it will be an on trial  period  service at the beginning and users can find more information in the official portals of the Public Health Ministry.   

The digitalization of the immunization process covers around 80 percent of the vaccinated population with the whole scheme, so citizens can download the document in their cell phones or print it.    

Portal Miranda informed that people not having access to their certificate, because it is not ready yet, due to any delay in the different territories, should go to their health institution to ask for its digitalization.

The Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, in another moment of the meeting, talked to government and political authorities of all provinces in the country, who informed about the epidemiological situation in their territories.

Official data show that more than 80 percent of the population in Cuba ( nine million 839 thousand 682) completed the whole vaccination against Covid- 19 scheme.
