Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez , First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic of Cuba visited last Friday 15 facilities of the Office of the Historian of Havana where he checked the actions carried out for the conservation of this heritage city and its historical memory

According to the presidential Twitter account, the president learned specifically about the Ciudad Inteligente Project (Smart City Project) whose objective is to strengthen capacities to provide sustainability to the heritage.

The initiative has an impact on the infrastructure for connectivity, transparent public management, environmental care and studies, citizen safety and intelligent lighting.

Precisely, the Office of the Historian of the City, located in the municipality of Old Havana, this year raised among its priorities the use of information and communications technologies to streamline processes and digital services.
