Miguel Díaz- Canel visits the community of La Corbata(The Tie) in the municipality of Playa

Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, visited this Friday 15th in the morning the community of La Corbata, in the municipality Playa of the capital.

It was referred by the Presidency on its Twitter account that the objective of the tour was to appreciate the progress made in the transformations carried out in this community, which were previously coordinated by the Ministry of Tourism.

Cuban Commander in Chief stressed out this Tuesday the social transformations work taken place in several communities.

In order to fulfill this actions, territorial authorities must be coordinated and work in a dynamic way, while socialist enterprises take over the inevitable social responsibility that characterize them as part of our social model of development.

Nowadays, disadvantaged neighborhoods of the 15 municipalities in Havana are the stage of actions destined to the construction and maintenance of residencies and main services in the communities.

Houses, streets, parks, doctor´s offices, schools, faces are changing their physiognomy, pointed out the President and added: ¨Places and souls are being repaired¨.
