Meet the new tele- classes television grid

The Ministry of Education announced the new television schedule, which has been modified after the commence of the on-site school year as from October 4th, 2021.

The proposal of the new television grid for lessons on TV has the following modifications:

The 11:30 a.m. programming time slot corresponding to 12th grade, will cede its spaces from Monday to Friday to:

  • Cultura Política(Political Culture) classes for 10th and 11th grade, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Transmission of a complementary curricular space for Pre-university, aimed at the area of Sciences, on Wednesdays.
  • Presentation of a program aimed at the professional orientation of the Pre-university students and other students interested in entering Higher Education by different means, on Mondays at 11.30 a.m.
  • Transmission of formative spaces for High School led to the professional component, alternating every two weeks with Educación Artística(Art Education) for 7th grade with the development of topics for this subject, on Fridays.
  • On the other hand, teaching activities broadcasted on TV for 12th grade, under the concept of tele-classes aimed at training students for entering Higher Education, will change space to Saturdays starting at 8:30 a.m., preceded at 8: 00a.m by the re-broadcasting of the vocational orientation programs, which will have it first space on Mondays.
  • English will be taught by tele-classes on Tuesdays for 1st and 2nd year, as part of the Teachers´ Training Program.  On Thursdays, classes dedicated to the teaching of the use of audiovisual and informatics resources will be broadcast.

The re-broadcasting schedule for High School programs will be changed tp Sundays from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Primary School Education will be incorporating other subjects as of November 8th, with the definition of a weekly frequency for English lessons from 3rd to 6th grade.
