European Cooperation Agency studies access to sustainable mobility in Havana

Accessibility to circulation in healthy spaces is one of the topics under discussion at the II Forum on Sustainable Urban Mobility in Havana, which continues to be held at the Technology Park in the municipality of Cerro.

Juan Garay, director of the European Union Cooperation Agency in Cuba, explained to the participants in the international meeting that the objective of the European organization is to study a more ecological way of life from the exchange of countries.

The meeting was held until last Friday at Finca de los Monos in the municipality of Cerro.

The director also added that the interest of the Cooperation Project is to support with investment the ideas that contribute to the development of a more ecological, humane and efficient transportation, taking into account the global challenges faced by people who are trying to reduce the progressive global warming and have access to a healthier life.

Another important topic discussed at the meeting was mobility from a gender and pedestrian approach.
