A new bakery, a soft drink dispenser spot and a candy store were inaugurated while a bakery that sales bread that can be purchased by using the food card was restored, as part of the management of the municipal government with the support of the companies placed in the territory, led by the Ministry of the Food Industry to enhance the services provided to the community.

At Calixto García Street, near the post office and integrated to the cafeteria El Tito, a modest sale of dispensed soft drink for take-away only was opened with the compliance of the regulations dictated by the Ministry of Public Health in order to diminish the propagation of the Covid -19 outbreak.

The bakery, which has an air conditioning system is strictly controlled to guarantee the proper use of raw material and the compliance of price allocation dictated by the Cadena del Pan, is located at 24 de Febrero Street, one of the main roads of the coast territory.

La Luisa, a legendary bakery of the suburbs of La Unión received a capital restoration that included among other elements its technological area and the outside area of the facility.

Currently multiple programs and social works linked to the community improvements are being carried out seeking and enhancement of the quality of life of this community.
