Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba (ETECSA) reports a reduction in mobile data consumption rates

As of this date, customers will be able navigate at a rate of 0.50 CUP/MB to international sites and for 0.25 CUP/MB to national sites.

The previous price was 2.50 CUP/MB for international navigation and 2.50 CUP/MB to national sites.

ETECSA recommended its customers to disable the Tariff by Consumption since this way it is easier to acquire a plan, a bag or a data package.

However, if the customer has a data plan, bag or package in force and also the comsumption fee enabled, once the data resources of the plan are exhausted,it will be authomatically discounted from the main balance according to the currentrate established by ETECSA this September 7th, 2021.
