National Assembly endorses fight against Covid-19 pandemic

According to a published note in its web site, the ANPP prioritizes the social work in vulnerable communities and neighborhoods.

It is referred in the text that Reinaldo García Zapata and Yanet Pérez, governor and deputy governor of Havana, directors of the permanent work commissions of the Cuban legislative work attended to the meeting, headed by Homero Acosta Álvarez , secretary of the ANPP.

Acosta Álvarez pointed out that the President of the ANPP, Esteban Lazo, has given indications to the commissions to strengthen direct contact with population in the communities, through the delegates and other authorities of Poder Popular(People’s Power)in the municipalities.

“As we have done before in some occasions during the pandemic, we will continue supporting the fight and prevention against Covid-19 pandemic, deploying social work into the communities; the actions that we perform in the capital will allow us to identify better experiences to be transmitted to other territories in the country as for aspects to consolidate”, claimed the secretary of the ANPP.

The need of deepen in topics of major concern in the population which require bigger information and a better explanation to the people in regard with measures taken in the territory, was  in the meeting.

This way, the members of the National Assembly will take actions this days to endorse battle against the new coronavirus and the work done in the communities of the capital.
