The institution, placed in Havana, informs that authors must send their creations digitally through the portal http://premiocasa.cu, available as of September 1st, with a maximum of 500 pages and other details related to typography and format.

The deadline expires on Friday, February 11th, 2022. The official jury will be presented in March and on the 11th that month, the selected works in the contest will be chosen and awarded by the members of the jury. This Award was created in 1979 by the Music Department of Casa de las Americas.

Since its founding date, the guild defends and stimulates scientific researches, knowledge and dissemination of this artistic manifestation through award-winning works such as: Diagnosticar la Musicalidad, by Alberto Alén Pérez and Vanguardias al sur and The music of Juan Carlos Paz, by Omar Cortado.
