Abril Publishing House, located in the municipality of Old Havana, will launch the book La Isla del Coco III, on the 40th Anniversary of Captain Plin, one of the main characters in the book. This is a text in which its author shows his love for children.

The book presentation will take place next Sunday, July 18 in a virtual space, just when we commemorate the International Children’s Day. The book could be purchased at the Abril bookstore, on Prado, between Dragones and Teniente Rey Street.

Another gift offered by the institution will also be the launching of the book Lejos pero no ausente, which includes fragments of the letters written by Adriana to Gerardo Hernández, one of the Five Heroes, including poems, drawings and a prologue made by Ricardo Alarcón .

This latter text, to be presented on August3, includes textimony by attorney Nuris Jimenez, a member of the Five Heroes ‘defense team, as well as a CD with the letters set to music.
