One of the routes, launched last Tuesday, July 6, is Martí in the Collections, which presented numerous proposals to the followers of the José Martí Birthplace Museum’s (Casa Natal José Martí) Facebook page. In the tours that will also include, on Tuesdays 13, 20 and 27of this month, several institutions of the Office of the Historian of the City, each museum will present on its Facebook profile illustrations showing the Heritage Assets linked to the life, history, art and literary, political and diplomatic work of the Cuban Apostle.

For example, the José Martí Birthplace Museum(Museo Casa Natal José Martí)will disseminate pieces from its “Martí in Dos Rios Collection”; the City Museum, “Jose Marti’s objects from the Hall of Flags” and the Juan Gualberto Gómez House, copies of the “Necessary War, Juan Gualberto Gómez Collection”.

As part of this Marti’s tour, Havana’s archeological museums will divulge samples related to the Royal Prison of Havana (Real Cárcel de la Havana) from the time when our Apostle remained in jail; the Numismatic Museum will promote its “Collection of the first Cuban coins dedicated to Martí”.

Likewise, the routes of the Ethnography, Crockery and Pharmacy Museums will be developed, always in virtual spaces, while Quinta de los Molinos will develop its didactic environmental route via WhatsApp to discovered its trees, animals, aquatic tires and butterflies, among other attractions of this ecological garden.
