Adolfo Luque dies in Havana.

He is considered a glory of Cuban and Latin American baseball. In the auditorium of the Latin American Stadium there is a bust that perpetuates his memory. It can be said that Luque went beyond the limits of legend and almost became a mythical character.

It has been said of his work as a pitcher that he was a great pitcher not only because of his Hercules arm, but also because he possessed a prodigious retentive ability to keep in mind the virtues and defects of the batters he faced.

Latin American Stadium.

It is a sports facility known in its beginnings as the Coloso del Cerro. It currently has a capacity for more than 50 thousand spectators. It has a dimension of 325 feet in the right and left fields and 400 feet in the center field. It is the home of the Industriales team and headquarters of the National Baseball Commission of Cuba.
