The First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, headed this Thursday a meeting with directors of the Enrique José Varona Pedagogical University and other professionals of the education system, to analyze how to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 on teaching.

The experts explained that Havana is developing a project called educational inquiry, whose main objective is to prepare teachers with better tools to ensure a best return to the classroom of students.

The educational research includes actions in the training and preparation of teachers, attention to families, identification of areas and subjects with greater impact on learning and curricular adjustments.

During the meeting it was announced that the educational research will become an integrated action model throughout the country.
