Tomás Gutiérrez Alea dies in Havana

Film Director and Screenwriter, he was one of the most outstanding filmmakers in the history of Cuban and Latin American cinema. He wrote and directed more than twenty feature films, documentaries, and shorts.He was a founding member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. (UNEAC).
